What happens in Annapolis rarely ever stays in Annapolis. Elections are over and now attention is turned to the Maryland General Assembly Legislative session that starts in January. The decisions made by the Legislature affect the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the land we call home. What will your state legislators be working on in Annapolis this coming session?

On December 9th, the Assateague Coastal Trust will be holding a discussion regarding the 2011 Legislative Preview about Environmental Priorities. The Maryland League of Conservation Voters will be fighting to make the environment a priority in the state budget. Learn the other issues that the environmental community will be focused on from community leaders, share what you think should happen in Annapolis, and hear from our elected officials.

Join the Assateague Costal Trust and the Maryland League of Conservation Voters in Easton or Salisbury for a networking reception followed by a presentation from local environmental leaders.
