Hopefully by now you’ve got all your back-to-school shopping out of the way, as Maryland’s annual tax free week has sadly come to an end. Summer itself isn’t officially over until September 22 and school doesn’t start until after Labor Day, but you know fall will be here soon when the Maryland Renaissance Festival starts back up for the season.

That’s what we’re currently the most excited for This Week in Annapolis: Ren Fest’s Revel Grove will be open for business once again starting this weekend and continuing nine weekends through Oct. 21. It’s been about a year since King Henry VIII and his court have been seen wandering the streets of Crownsville, but they’ll be back here on their royal steeds in just a few short days.

Without further ado, here are the special events, recurring events and performers that will be in Annapolis the week of Aug. 20 – 26.
