City Dock Celebrates Jewish Festival of Lights

In recognition of Hanukkah, the eight-day Jewish Festival of Lights, a menorah was lit at Annapolis City Dock on Sunday, which was the  fifth night of Hanukkah. The joyful holiday marks the rededication of the Temple in Jerusalem by the Maccabees’ after the defeat of their Syrian oppressors.
