(Annapolis, MD) – The Annapolis Water Taxi, owned and operated by Watermark, is winding down service for the 2018 season. Daily Water Taxi service ends Sunday, Oct. 21, accommodating snow birds who will be heading south on their boats soon now that the Boat Shows are over. The Water Taxi will continue to operate on weekends through early November, weather dependent.

“It’s a sure sign that Fall is upon us when daily Water Taxi service stops, boat shows are over, and the cruising boats head south,” said Watermark President Debbie Gosselin. “While it’s a bit sad, our staff is eager to start refreshing the taxis for next season. There is plenty to keep us busy even when the boats aren’t running.”

On the Saturday of the Tug of War, Nov. 3, the Water Taxi is scheduled to operate from 10 a.m. – 11 p.m. Don’t let the activity on the bridge keep you from getting around Annapolis; to hail a Water Taxi, call 410-263-0033 or VHF channel 68. Fares are $3-8 per person depending upon destination, and the Water Taxi accepts cash or vouchers only. Full Water Taxi schedule, route and fare list are available here. The Water Taxi returns to full service in Spring 2019.
