After 40 years, the Historic Annapolis Antiques Show has ended its long-running tradition.
The Historic Annapolis Foundation (HAF) announced earlier this year that it wasn’t going to participate in the event, citing a lot of effort for not much return—at least in recent years. That decision led the operator of the show, Bob Armacost, owner of Armacost Antiques in Baltimore, to cancel the event altogether.
HAF hopes to put the show on again in the future but no plans have been finalized at the moment.
If you have any ideas about how to revive the annual antiques show, HAF would like to hear from you. Call410-626-1033 or e-mail carrie.kiewitt@annapolis.org.
