The Westin Annapolis Hotel, at 100 Westgate Circle, is a 21st century addition to the growing and vibrant Inner West Street area of downtown. Located off the lobby of the hotel is the Azure Restaurant. Decorated in blue, as befits its name, Azure offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. It features a simple menu of well-prepared seafood and meat choices.

Down the street at 126 West Street, the Breeze restaurant is located in the Loews Annapolis Hotel. Its décor is light and airy, as its name implies. It offers a menu centered on fresh local ingredients and seasonal specials. A terrace for outdoor dining is available.

Nearby is a trendy winehouse, Crush. Wines can be enjoyed by the bottle or by the glass in a stylish modern setting. Choices from its menu are designed to be enjoyed with its wine selection and include simple grilled entrees, salads, plates of meat, cheese and bread, as well as desserts and chocolates.

Further along toward Church Circle is the Ram’s Head Tavern at 33 West Street. Taverns have stood at this site for most of the past three hundred years. The Ram’s Head Tavern serves pub fare with an emphasis on seafood. It has a brick and wood interior, and offers a large choice of bottled and draught beers. Live entertainment is presented most nights. There is a beer garden patio for summer dining.

Main Street

Main Street radiates from Church Circle and runs toward the City Dock area. It is the heart of Downtown Annapolis. Annapolis has more 18th century structures than anywhere else in the nation. Sixty-five of these buildings line historic brick-paved Main Street.

The Café Normandie is located at 185 Main Street. It offers French country cuisine, including tasty French desserts, and an extensive wine list, seven days a week.

Buddy’s Crabs and Ribs is further down at 100 Main Street. They serve casual cuisine dominated by seafood choices. There is a raw bar and special all-you-can-eat buffets. A child under ten eats free from the Children’s Menu with the order of an adult entrée. Children under five eat free from the buffets; children six to ten eat at half-price.

City Dock

The Annapolis Waterfront is the focal point of the city known as “The Sailing Capital of the World.” The City Dock is the heart of the waterfront and bustles with activity every day.

The Annapolis Marriott Waterfront Hotel is the only Annapolis hotel located directly on the water. Pusser’s Caribbean Grille is adjacent to the hotel. It is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and serves seafood with a Caribbean twist. A special signature rum drink is available.

Hell Point Seafood is at 12 Dock Street. With a scenic water view, Hell Point offers a range of seafood specialties, a lighter café menu, and, from Thursdays through Sundays, special $5 bar food small plates along with drink specials.
