The Annapolis Business Association has corrected the information published in the Capital Newspaper’s Midnight Madness section regarding parking and transportation during the holidays in downtown Annapolis.
The Circulator trolley is NOT free to and from the Navy Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. Riders will be charged $2.00 to ride the trolley on top of the $5 fee to park at the Stadium.
The Circulator trolley IS FREE inside the Central Business District, Westgate Circle to Memorial Circle. So, if you want to avoid the traffic and enjoy the holidays in Annapolis, then park at Park Place or Knighton garage for only $5 a day, and jump on the Circulator trolley to enjoy the FREE nostalgic trolley ride to and from your holiday destination.
During Midnight Madness, the City will extend the hours of operation to accommodate holiday shoppers and will run until 12:30 a.m. to get the public safely back to their vehicles at City garages. The next Midnight Madness is next Thursday, December 15th.
Park Place garage is located at Westgate Circle and Knighton Garage is located at 1A Colonial Avenue. The Circulator Trolley will pick up visitors outside the garage and move them every 10 minutes to the downtown area and back to the garage free of charge. The Circulator Trolley can be hailed from anywhere along the route and is free during the holidays.
Waited at stadium for over an hour! Where the hell was the circulator?
