Learning on the open waters may be the dream of many, but for those in Annapolis, it’s reality thanks to Annapolis Marriott Waterfront Hotel and Schooner Woodwind. Back on land, kids and adults alike can learn Annapolis history at William Paca House. The historic property on Prince George Street offers tours with a colonial this Sunday from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. Adults pay $10 and kids under 17 pay $5. No reservations are needed.
Also on land but on Main Street, guests can learn about colonial stitching and make history at Historic Annapolis Museum. Attendees literally stitch their names into history. There’s no admission or reservation needed. Drop by between noon and 4 p.m.
Annapolis Green
Birds are an integral part of the ecosystem, but are also beautiful to observe! Jug Bay Wetlands Sanctuary hosts a bird walk this Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Observe nature on a guided tour in one of Maryland’s most lovely habitats. Bring the kids and wear comfy shoes.
