The TCS Annapolis Half Marathon will be held this Saturday, December 1, in Annapolis. This is a run event that will begin and end at the Navy-Marine Corps Stadium. Organizers anticipate approximately 3,000 registered runners at this time.
Parking and Traffic Impacts
All route and street closures within the City of Annapolis have been worked out with, and agreed to by, the Annapolis Police Department, USNA and MD Department of Transportation. Extensive consideration has been given by the APD to minimizing the inconvenience to residents and businesses. There will be no loss of parking along the route.
Setup begins at 3:00 a.m. Saturday, December 1 and will not close roads. No impact on residents is expected.
Parking along Main St. and King George St. will not be impacted.
Sidewalks will be used by spectators along the run and bike routes, but sidewalk closures are not planned or requested. APD police, traffic professionals, EMTs, and event volunteers will be along the run route for crowd control, traffic control, and emergency assistance.
