Bay Theatre still carries out their play, The Foursome, until January 3. This fun-loving, friend-filled play features old high school buddies who reunite on the golf course. Gallery Row in downtown Annapolis plays live music on Thursdays for Christmas shoppers. While this isn’t necessarily an event, the music played is all festive. From five to seven, classic holiday music will be playing; from seven to nine, classical guitar holiday tunes are performed by Ahren Bucheister; and from nine to eleven, saxophone player Jeff Antoniuk plays. Listening is free every Thursday.
The Jolly Express Cruise (of Watermark Cruises) takes participants around the Bay from City Dock until December 31. Decked out with reindeer antlers and a big red nose, this cruise is sure to get you into the holiday spirit! Cruises are scheduled Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, but there are a few exceptions. In addition, the hours of operation depend on the day; the tour hours range from 6 to 9 p.m. Tours for adults cost $22 and children cost $12. If you’d like to enjoy the season on land, try out the “Holiday Candelight Stroll” until December 22. This walking tour heads through downtown Annapolis and is led by colonial guides. At Ram’s Head, Candy Dulfer performs two shows–one at 6 and the other at 9 p.m.–this Monday. This jazzy show costs $39.50. Tuesday and Wednesday, Carbon Leaf, pop rockers, perform at 8 p.m. for $29.50. On Thursday, Los Lobos, Latin rockers, perform for $65 at 6:30 and 9:30 p.m. Christine Lavin and Uncle Bonsai perform at 8 p.m. for $22.50. This is a folk show. Jazz musicians, Pieces of a Dream, perform at 7 p.m. this Saturday for $39.50. Sunday at 7:30, there’s a burlesque holiday show that you won’t want to miss. The show costs $22.50. At 49 West, 12 local singer/songwriters lull the crowd with innovative tunes at 7 p.m. for $12. Tuesday, it’s Unified Jazz Ensemble at 8:30 p.m. for $6. Wednesday, Starr’s Jazz Jam hypes up the experience at 7 p.m. for $10. Thursday, Caesar Ulsano Duo performs at 4 p.m. for free. Friday, Izzi Does It rocks out at 8:30 p.m. for $8.
