West Annapolis, tucked away behind Rowe Boulevard, is much-celebrated for its quaint neighborhood vibe and charming shopping and dining. This May 4, though, the quiet neighborhood gets a dose of Mexican flair with West Annapolis’s Third Annual Cinco de Mayo Celebration. We present the details below. Mark your calendars!

What is it?

Translated to the 5th of May, this event is spans the country and celebrates Mexican heritage. In West Annapolis, the event is held on the 4th to accommodate Monday through Friday workers.

West Annapolis hosts this event on the street, but some stores and restaurants will participate with festivities inside the businesses. You can hear live Mexican music, enjoy margaritas, taste good Latino food, and spend time with neighbors and friends outdoors. Additionally, various vendors selling goods–edible, decorative, and festive things–will line the streets.

Because the event mostly takes place outside, pets on leashes and kids are welcome.

What time?

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on May 4.

This event is low-key, free (admission is at least), and everyone is invited. For more info, head to www.westannapolisbusiness.org.

See you there!
