‘Tis the season for getting serious about the outdoors, especially now that we can enjoy it comfortably. Join Project Clean Stream this Saturday, April 6, for a good time doing volunteer work at various bodies of water across the Chesapeake Bay. The goal is simple: clean up the waterways that feed our animals, what we eat, and are part of the entertainment we partake in. Learn about the locations, times, and more needed information at your spot for all things green: http://www.annapolisgreen.com.
In addition to the volunteer opportunity, you have another chance to get in touch with nature via the “Interfaith Musical Lecture” put on by Dr. Carol Bechtel, a professor of the Old Testament at Western Theological Seminary. She will be at the First Presbyterian Church on Duke of Gloucester Street this Sunday, April 7, to lecture on nature, song, and psalms.
