The Annapolis City Council is reviewing the leases for Chesapeake Marine Tours (known as Watermark Cruises) and Freshfarm Markets, which operates next to the Fawcett Boat Supplies building during the summer. Public hearings were held last week; there were no opponents to the proposed lease renewals.
Watermark Cruises has asked to renew its lease to operate cruise and taxi service through fiscal year 2017. Watermark has leased space at the Annapolis City Dock since 1972. Freshfarm Markets has requested renewing its lease from May 2 to November 20. Freshfarm has operated markets at City Dock for the past three years.
