The community feeling in Annapolis is certainly present throughout the year, but it seems that summer brings out the most exciting, community-based events. Perhaps it’s the warm weather that encourages people to participate in Annapolitan entertainment, or maybe it is the events that unite us all. Regardless of the impetus for the community dynamic, the events that follow exhibit what’s coming up in Annapolis that aids in fun and doing good.

We will start with events that benefit in Annapolis and then spread our reach to areas outside the city. One of the biggest, most notable events in June is “Bands in the Sand.” This event is held at the Philip Merrill Environmental Center in Annapolis, located at 6 Herndon Avenue Bands is the Sand is all about marrying live music, philanthropy, and good times on a warm summer night.
