There are a few entertaining things to choose from this week, including Green Drinks, a painting event, and more.
Annapolis History
We love events that combine art and history, and this next one does just that. The Painting Interiors at the Paca House event allows participants to paint in the historic Annapolis house. Enjoy watercolor instruction, beautiful views, and creating your own masterpiece. The 10th is the date and 9 a.m. is the time. Head to fourriversheritage.org to see more.
Annapolis Entertainment
Two very different, yet very cool events take place this week at Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts on Thursday. The first, the Gerdane Ensemble from Ukraine, is free. Enjoy this cultural, musical experience with these talented musicians. The show starts at 7 p.m. For this event and the next one, head to marylandhall.org.
Also on Thursday, Annapolis High School opens their rendition of the Grapes of Wrath. This classic performance is one all should see. The performance continues through Saturday. Tickets cost $15 per person. Thursday and Friday, the show starts at 8 p.m. Saturday, the show starts at 7 p.m.
Annapolis Green
Perhaps a good New Year’s resolution would be to be more green in 2015. If that’s your thinking, start the year off right with the most fun and social green event in Annapolis–Green Drinks, happening on Wednesday, January 7. Galway Bay hosts this eco-friendly networking party, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. It’s free, easy to attend and enjoy, and is beneficial to you and to Annapolis. There’s a cash bar.
