. This conventional show begins on Thursday, June 27 and is available for viewing until July 20. Essentially, the musical follows a few friends who try to pull together a musical on a short time span. It’s a bit chaotic yet comical thanks to the time constraints the characters face. Enjoy the show opening night or any Thursday, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday between the 27th and the ending date. Head to www.summergarden.com to learn more.

The Colonial Players continue their innovative play this week. Taking Steps, if you haven’t heard, is a performance unlike many others in that it takes the stage to new heights, literally. The setting is a Victorian-style house, and the plot rests on the twists and turns of the stage. This week is the final one for the performance, so catch it on the 29th before it’s over. Go to http://thecolonialplayers.org to acquire tickets.

Schooner Woodwind hosts a cruise that equally celebrates sailing and beer.
