Free, carefree, musical fun happens this Friday at 8:30 p.m. at Whitmore Park on Calvert Street. The musical is called Naughty in the Park and is performed by talented singers and dancers from New York City. The lovely show is sponsored by Annapolis Collection Gallery and Infinity Theatre. Bring chairs, coolers, and other comforts and watch from the park. Did I mention it’s FREE?

In the need of light-hearted, even island-like music? Ram’s Head treats you to Mishka & Anuhea with Micah Brown on Monday at 7:30 p.m., a group similar to Colbie Caillat or Jack Johnson. They perform for $18. On Tuesday, the music genre switches to blues/soul music with Eric Lindell at 8 p.m. The ticket price is $20. Wednesday, see Landau Eugene Murphy Jr., a pop musician, at 8 p.m. for $29.50. The Lettermen perform on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. for $45. This group is mostly pop too. Honor By August performs a blend of pop and rock on Friday for $22. See them at 8 p.m. The last day of June, Rare Earth visits the stage with their motown vibe. They perform at 8:30 p.m. for $41. 49 West brings back “The 9 Songwriter Series” on Monday at 7 p.m. As the name suggests, this performance showcases nine talented singer/songwriters. Enjoy the fresh lyrics and passionate sounds for $10. Tuesday, Unified Jazz Ensemble returns at 8 p.m. The cover charge is $6. Wednesday, see The DC Experience at 8 p.m. for $6. Cafe Scientific takes over 49 West at 6:30 to bring attendees a short history of the Chesapeake Bay. There’s no charge. After Cafe Scientific, Rob Levit performs at 8:30 p.m. for $6. Friday, Susan Jones plays as a tribute to musician Django’s gypsy jazz. Jones begins at 8 p.m. for $10. The tribute continues on Saturday with Kruno Spisic’s gypsy jazz. See Spisic at either 7 or 9 p.m. for $20. Sunday, Jonathan Stone performs guitar music accompanied by sweet lyrics at 10 a.m. for free. Gary and Leah also perform on Sunday at 4 pm. for no charge. This Wednesday presents another installment of Sachs Memorial Summer Jazz Series, with Afro Bop Alliance. Annapolis History

Get your kids involved in Annapolis history this week with “Painters and Patriots Summer Camp” at William Paca House. At this camp, kids will learn painting techniques and about Annapolis’s Revolutionary War history. This program runs from June 25 to June 29 and is designed for kids in 1st to 3rd grades. Another historical event happening this week is “Community Stitching with Annapolis Tapestry Volunteers.” Make history with a simple stitch at Historic Annapolis Museum. Be there on Sunday between noon and 4 p.m. to stitch 18th and 19th century tapestries. There’s no cost.

Looking to be more eco-aware this week? Aside from recycling (which you should do anyway!) Jug Bay Wetlands offers you the chance to become one with nature, so to speak. The beautiful park in Lothian puts on a stream walk, where participants can experience changes along Pindell Branch and around the Patuxent. Learn about marine life and more.
