The end of this week–starting on Saturday–marks the beginning of Irish Week in Annapolis. All this is in favor of gearing up for St. Patrick’s Day, the last day of the celebration. Ten days of fun, green, and Irish-minded events happen all around Annapolis, like the St. Pat’s Parade throughout downtown Annapolis. Galway Bay is your source for Irish Annapolis: galwaybaymd.com. Don’t forget your lucky green shirt!

If you’re more in the mood for a performance, try out Watch on the Rhine, performed by The Colonial Players. This show centers on nostalgia, new relationships, ties to country, and much more. See the full synopsis and tickets on thecolonialplayers.org.

Compass Rose Theater pulls the curtain on their performance, Murder in the Cathedral, this week. This prize-winning plot by T.S. Eliot should not go unseen. Tickets and the play’s description are available online, at compassrosetheater.org.
