Summer weather might be slowly disappearing, but that doesn’t mean Boatyard Bar and Grill can’t host a party on the beach to benefit the Annapolis Maritime Museum. In fact, that’s precisely what’s happening this Saturday from 5 to 9 p.m. This annual, beloved event is packed full of live music on the beach, drinks, food, and plenty of sun. Where Boatyard Bar and Grill celebrates one last hurrah on the beach, Maryland Avenue and State Circle celebrate the coming of fall with their annual fall festival on Sunday. The fall festival is treasured for its laid back vibe, street music by locals, vendors selling all sorts of goodies, and food specials for restaurants along Maryland Avenue and State Circle. It’s a beautiful thing when going green and local seafood come together for one event. This summer, the Annapolis Rotary Club’s crab feast was evidence of this. Now, experience this ideal merge of green and seafood with the “Taste of the Chesapeake” dinner at Quiet Waters Park on Thursday night. The dinner will feature tasty treasures from the Bay, live music, and networking for those who love the Bay and area waters. Annapolis History

The William Paca House hosts an interesting, educational event on its luscious grounds this week. Learn about the 3rd Constitutional Convention, the moves to abolish slavery, to end indentured servitude, and to create a better education system all with this event. Move around the grounds, sip drinks, and nibble on appetizers while hearing about these integral historical moments. Admission is $50 per person.
