As always, this event inspires green thinking, encourages social networking, and is free. Nothing is required of you, including admission and tickets. Green Drinks begins at 5:30 p.m. and ends two hours later. Learn more at www.annapolisgreen.com.

Early September is the ideal time to be outside, and Ocean Conservancy would propose it’s also the perfect weather for volunteering at Jonas Green Park. Come volunteer to help clean up the park. With this park so valuable to the beauty of Annapolis, it’s important to lend a hand in its maintenance. Kids are welcome too. The clean up is organized by Ocean Conservancy. Volunteer from 9 a.m. to noon if you can. For more about this opportunity, head to www.annapolisgreen.com.
