Annapolis Independence Day Parade starts at 6:30 pm on Amos Garrett Blvd. and proceeds right onto West Street, around Church Circle, down Main Street, left onto Randall Street, and ends in front of the Market House. You can watch the parade from any of the above mentioned streets. Bring your lawn chairs or a blanket to get a front row seat!

There will be live entertainment at the conclusion of the Annapolis parade in front of the Market House. A performance by the United States Naval Academy Band’s Concert Band will take place at 8:00 pm at the City Dock downtown.

Fireworks will be launched from Farragut Field on the United States Naval Academy yard at 9:15 pm. The best viewing are from public spaces northeast of the Severn Rover, near the Naval Academy Bridge, from any of the street-end parks facing Spa Creek, and from a boat in the Annapolis harbor. The Spa Creek Bridge will be closed to traffic beginning at 9:00 pm to create an unobstructed viewing area from the pier.

Remember that parking in downtown Annapolis is limited. A free shuttle will be provided by the City of Annapolis from the stadium to the downtown area at Lawyer’s Mall in front of the State House. The shuttle begins operating at 4:00 pm and will run until midnight. Parking is $5 at the stadium. A shuttle downtown is free.

Have a safe and happy Independence Day, Annapolis!
