Craft beer has taken the nation by storm over the past few years, resulting in the emergence of a multitude of fun and unique breweries throughout Maryland and the mid-Atlantic region. This September, many of these local beer makers, as well as skilled craft beersmen from around the country will invade Navy Stadium for the 4th Annual Annual Annapolis Craft Beer and Music Festival.
Craft beer enthusiasts can treat themselves to unlimited tastings of over 120 craft beers from more than 45 breweries, as well as participate in educational seminars to learn about beer tasting basics, pairing the various foods with the perfect beers, and other expert knowledge from industry leaders at the Annapolis Craft Beer and Music Festival on Saturday, September 13.
Of all the breweries on hand, many, such as Burley Oak, Heavy Seas, Flying Dog, Du Claw, Pub Dog, Full Tilt, and Union, are located right here in Maryland.
While you sip delicious handcrafted beers, such as the World Beer Cup winning Cutlass Amber Lager by Heavy Seas, from your commemorative pint glass, you can also enjoy a full schedule of smooth jazz, island jams, rock and roll, country, R&B, and other great live music for all ages on on the Pilsner Stage; peruse the Festival Shops for one-of-a-kind arts, crafts, and other specialty products; or indulge in the wide selection of authentic Maryland cuisine, including oysters, crab cakes, and more, from “Catering By the Bay.”
The Annapolis Craft Beer and Music Festival will take place from noon-6pm. General admission tickets cost $40 and include unlimited samples during the event, but discounted pricing is available from LivingSocial, TravelZoo and other online vendors. Don’t forget to bring a chair or blanket for more comfortable viewing of musical acts and to sign up at the Volunteer tent to participate in any of the seminars.
