The Chesapeake Arts Center presents the 5th Annual Arts in the Park Festival on Saturday, August 18, 2018, from 11AM to 3PM, outside of the Hammonds Lane Theater, located at 194 Hammonds Lane, Brooklyn Park, Maryland 21225. The FREE outdoor event will take place, rain or shine! Bring a blanket or lawn chair to enjoy the live entertainment by Brent Schraffenberger, Annapolis Big Band Junction, and RÊVE. Besides live music there will be Corn Hole, Moon Bounce, Food Trucks, community resource partners and local artists displaying and selling their art!
Festivities begin at 11AM with a special presentation thanking the Anne Arundel County Executive, Steve Schuh, for his vision for North County and the unveiling of a sculpture, created by Stephen Bradley, Ricky Siegert and Charles Pennington.
The Chesapeake Arts Center with community partner, Community of Hope, and sponsors Whiting-Turner and the Arts Council of Anne Arundel County, are organizing the FREE family event.
