This free lecture series is funded by the Class of 1950 Museum Endowment in recognition of the significant contribution made to the Endowment by the Shifley Trust. All lectures are held from 12:30 – 1:15 p.m. at the 2nd floor theater of Preble Hall (the Museum) and are open to midshipmen, faculty, staff and members of the public.
The Nov. 13 lecture will be provided by Dr. Virginia Smith on the 1918 influenza epidemic and its impact on the U.S. Naval Academy.
