There could not be a more beautiful city to paint than Annapolis, and the 5 day plein air Paint Annapolis competition will bring plein air painters from around the world to this historic city. Plein air means to paint outside, so the streets of Annapolis will be scattered with artists aiming to capture the atmosphere and culture of this extraordinary town. This is the 14th year for this event and the art created during May 30 – June 5 will be on display from June 5 – 12. Awards for artists participating in Paint Annapolis total $15,000.
