(Annapolis, MD, May 22): Historic Annapolis is pleased to announce the return of the popular HA Tuesdays Happy Hours.  This year’s Happy Hours will all have a unique theme.

On Tuesday, June 5, at the William Paca House and Garden, 186 Prince George Street, from 5pm-7pm, Historic Annapolis will present “Murder Most Floral: A Garden Party Murder Mystery”.

A murder has occurred in the William Paca Garden.  It is up to the attendees of this Not-So-Happy Hour to determine who the culprit is, where the crime took place, and with what weapon the crime was perpetrated.  We will do so using the tried and true Clue format.  The Suspects will be members of the Paca’s household and other prominent Annapolitans.  The Weapons will be various historic objects that would have been found around the house, and the Locations will be different parts of the Paca Garden.  Participants will visit each location around the garden where they will talk to the suspects and learn more about them and the various weapons.  At the end, each group will propose a guess as to Suspect, Location, and Weapon.  Justice will be done, and winners will receive a prize.

It is time to put on detective caps and solve the mystery of the Murder Most Floral.

The event is open only to those who are 21 years of age and over and reservations are encouraged. Reservations can be made by visiting www.annapolis.org or by calling 410.267.7619.

Admission is $10 for Historic Annapolis members and volunteers, and $12 for non-members, and includes one drink ticket. Additional drink tickets will be available for purchase at the event.
