If you’re heading out of town for the Thanksgiving weekend, be alert for potential backups on Interstate 95 in Maryland and Delaware as construction work continues at the Newark toll plaza in Delaware.

Delaware transportation officials are warning drivers to expect major delays throughout the Thanksgiving holiday week at the I-95 Newark toll plaza. The delays could stretch for miles.
