Downtown Annapolis has a certain charm, most evident at times of the year when festivals pop up all over Main Street, West Street, Maryland Avenue, and more. This enchanted time of year is now. It’s time once again for Maryland Avenue and State Circle’s Fall Festival, a true Annapolis tradition. We re-tell of the details below; plan to be there!

We prefaced this festival by saying it is a tradition, and one that is free, easy to enjoy, and celebrates local merchants. This year, attendees can expect varied vendors selling all sorts of goods–everything from apparel for men and women to artsy decor. The stores along Maryland Avenue will also participate in the festival, with discounts and plenty of items to peruse.

Many festival-goers attend for the experience: walking on cobblestone streets in cool weather simply for aesthetic pleasure. This year, an added bonus to the experience will be music by The Rob Levit Trio, Crossing Celtic, The Bridgette Michaels Band, and Atom Bumz. These groups cover nearly every musical genre, from Celtic to light rock.

Other traditional festival entertainment, like activities for kids, are also part of this one. In addition to bringing the kids, pets are welcome as the festival is held outside. Paws Pet Boutique may even provide incentive to bring your pooch with treats as they did in years past.
