Residents of Annapolis and Anne Arundel County will join millions of Americans to volunteer on Make A Difference Day, Saturday, October 22, 2016. Sponsored this year by TEGNA Media in collaboration with Points of Light and Arby’s Foundation, Make a Difference Day is the nation’s largest annual single-day of community service.

The Anne Arundel County Volunteer Center is recruiting and referring volunteers for many volunteer activities taking place on Make a Difference Day and throughout October.   • Happy Helpers for the Homeless Day of Service in Glen Burnie
