Annapolis, MD (1-09-19) Mayor Gavin Buckley welcomes members of the Maryland General Assembly, their staff and visitors back to Annapolis for the 2019 legislative session and offers a few parking tips for Marylanders planning to visit the city.

Avoid the Crowds

Visitors who wish to avoid the city’s busiest parking locations should consider the Park Place Garage located at One Park Place on West Street or the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium lot. Park Place is serviced daily by the free Circulator and the stadium lot includes an Express shuttle service during the legislative session from 7:45 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. & 3:30 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. Monday-Friday. Stadium shuttle fare is $2.

Improved Circulator Route

The free Circulator includes new stops that will benefit session visitors. The new School Street-Church Circle stop gives visitors near the State House complex faster and more convenient service back to the three garages on West Street (Gott’s Court, Knighton, and Park Place.)

The new State Garage stop at 19 St. Johns Street is designed to encourage visitors to take advantage of State Garage’s free public parking Monday-Friday 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. and all weekend.

The North Street-State Circle stop allows visitors easy access to the State House and other state government buildings. Visitors can track the Circulator’s location in real-time by downloading the “RLS Shuttle” app to their smartphone and clicking “Annapolis,” or visiting the mobile-friendly website www.annapolisparking.com/circulator-alternative-transportation/
