Loews Annapolis Hotel: The Loews Loves Pets Program was created for pet lovers. Pay an extra $25 at check in and you can bring up to 2 pets with you when you stay at the Loews in Annapolis. The extra, one-time, free is used for extra cleaning services. Your pet will receive a placemat, water bowl, and bottle of water, a pet-only room service menu, doggie biscuits, and a door hanger so the housekeep will be aware that there is a pet in your room. Quite the package, right? A pet sitting guide is available at the front desk.

The Westin Annapolis Hotel: While staying at the Westin in downtown Annapolis, your pet will feel right at home. Each pet staying at the hotel will receive a welcoming kit consisting for toys and treats upon arrival. Let the staff know that you’re bringing a pet with and they’ll place a custom pet bed, doggie dishes, and turndown pet treats in your room.

  • How about pet stores? Take your little friend shopping with you in Annapolis:

Paw Pet Boutique: A fresh bowl of water outside of the store means that your pet will feel welcome in this boutique. Dog biscuits upon arrival, too! You’ll find a biscuit bakery case, toys, and food inside. Paw Pet is located on State Circle.

  • Let your dog run wild! Or at least run around in any of these Dog Parks in Annapolis. Enjoy some time with your pup outside! These designated dog parks are all in the Annapolis area. Be sure to abide by any rules and regulations set forth and posted at these individual parks. Want to go to the dog park? Here are a few parks that allow dogs in the Annapolis area:

Quiet Waters Park: With 6 miles of trails, your dog will have a hay-day! Anne Arundel County’s first dog park is located at Quiet Waters. There are two fenced-in areas where your dog can run off-leash, one for small dogs and one for large dogs.

Back Creek Nature Center: Your pet will enjoy the scenic nature trails at Back Creek. You’ll also find a fishing pier, several picnic areas, and open spaces to check out. Remember to keep your dog leashed and clean up after them while in the Nature Center.

Broadneck Park: Your dog can run off-leash at this park. The dog area is open from dawn to dusk daily. A large dog area and small dog area are fenced in an accessible from the College Parkway entrance to the park. Your dog must be wearing all tags and remain under control while using the park. Bring your own water dishes and clean-up bags with you.

Bowie Dog Park: This large, one-acre, dog park is open from dawn to dusk. The fenced in park is separated into two areas; large dogs and small dogs separated.

  • If you’re looking for a place to eat and don’t want to leave your pet at home or at the hotel, just bring them with. Here are a few Annapolis restaurants that allow dogs to dine, too:

Stan & Joe’s Saloon: Located on West Street in Annapolis, Stan & Joe’s Saloon allows pups to hang out on their back patio during dinner.

Buddy’s Crabs & Ribs: Outside seating at Buddy’s is perfect for dog owners. Dogs are permitted at the outside tables and must be leashed at all times.

Grump’s Café: Take your dog down to the water and eat at Grump’s. Dogs are allowed to eat alfresco at the outside tables if they are on a leash.
