Expect delays in and around Annapolis tomorrow morning due to road closures for the Inauguration of Governor Hogan. 

Already closed to traffic and parking:

  • State Circle from East Street to North Street 

  • Maryland Avenue from State Circle to Prince George Street

  • East Street from State Circle to Fleet Street

Road Closures on January 16 at 7 a.m.

  • All of State Circle will be closed 

  • College Ave will be closed from Bladen Street to St. John’s Street

  • North Street

  • Maryland Ave from State Circle to Prince George Street

  • East Street from State Circle to Fleet Street

  • Cornhill Street

  • Francis Street

  • School Street

All roads will reopen after the conclusion of the inauguration except State Circle from East Street to North Street, Maryland Avenue from State Circle to Prince George Street and East Street from State Circle to Fleet Street. The remaining roads will reopen by 11:59 p.m. on January 16.

No Parking Zones:

  • Francis Street

  • Fleet Street

  • East Street between State Circle and Fleet Street

  • Prince George Street between College Ave and Maryland Ave

  • College Ave between Bladen Street and North Street

  • St. Johns Street

  • State Circle

  • Maryland Ave between State Circle and Prince George Street

  • North Street

  • School Street

  • Calvert Street between Northwest Street and Bladen Street

The City of Annapolis Call Center will be open from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on January 16th to take non-emergency phone calls from residents. The Call Center can be reached at 410-260-2211.

A nineteen-gun salute will occur during the Inauguration. If you are in the area expect to hear test firing around 10 a.m. and the salute around 1:20 p.m.  There is also a low altitude flyover by airplanes during the inauguration
