St. Patrick’s Day in Annapolis is celebrated with optimal fanfare and family fun for all, all weekend long (and even the weekend before). Restaurants, hotels, shops, and community organizations host events that feature live music, traditional Irish fare, and even a little friendly competition, providing optimal fun for everyone — even those without a drop of Irish heritage. We’re all Irish in Annapolis this March, so deck yourself out in green and turn out to any of these festive celebrations. We’ll start with the city’s headline event:
The Annapolis St. Patrick’s Day Parade
Downtown, March 10, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
2019 marks the 7th annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Annapolis, and this year it’s a full day of fun (running from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.) with a new family festival before and after the parade. Shamrock the Dock from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with entertainment, face painters, food, and libations, catch the parade at 1 p.m., then enjoy more Shamrock the Dock festival fun at 3:30 p.m. featuring more food and face painters, plus photo screens and music from Dublin 5.
Eastport Democratic Club Green Beer Races
March 9, 12-5 p.m.
The Annual Green Beer Races offer a chance for the community to rally behind Irish-themed friendly competition. Everyone is invited, including kids and the dog. In a nutshell, this event is the chance to drink beer and celebrate St. Patrick’s in an unconventional, active way.
Hotel & Restaurant Events
The 2019 St. Patrick’s Day Hooley
Hotel Annapolis, March 9, 6-10 p.m.
The Hooley is the Irish party of the year, complete with complimentary open bar, full dinner, great craic, authentic live music, photo booth, ample shenanigans and friends old and new. The 5th Annual Annapolis St. Patrick’s Hooley will be held on March 9th at the Hotel Annapolis. Naptown Events and the Chesapeake Bayhawks thrilled to present this kickoff tradition to the St. Patrick’s Day celebration.

St. Patrick’s Day Weekend at Middleton Tavern
March 15-18, 8 p.m.-12 a.m.
Join us for the annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration at the Tavern.
Specials all weekend including Irish Dishes. Larry Lay ‘s 24th year anniversary party all weekend. The man, the legend on the keys, started with us on St Patrick’s Day 24 years ago and we never looked back. Come have a pint with him and sing along on this happy day! Slainte! A traditional Irish St. Patrick’s Day celebration at Brian Boru
March 17, 8 a.m.-11:30 p.m.
Join us to celebrate like the Irish do, with music, banter, and good food all day and night. We open at 8am with breakfast ready to start the day. Live Irish music starts at 12 noon and carries on until 11:30 pm. Stop in any time, for any amount of time, as we are NOT charging a cover. That’s right NO COVER!
