The Maryland Tourism Council and the Maryland Destination Marketing Organizations have teamed up and are co-sponsoring a meet-and-greet with local legislation in Annapolis. By meeting with the legislators those interested can learn about the importance of tourism to our local economy.

Legislators can educate the public about the impact marketing the State has on the tourism industry. Tourism supports job for over 140,00 Marylanders and generates over 1.7 billion dollars in local and state taxes.

The event takes place on Friday, Jan. 28, 2011 at the Miller Senate Office Building located at 11 Bladen Street in Annapolis, MD. Doors open at 8:00 am and close at 2:00 pm. For more information or to RSVP email mtc@mdassn.com.
