The U.S. Naval Institute presents the 2010 History Conference in Annapolis! The USNI History Confrence theme of this year’s conference revolves around pirates. The conference will take place on October 20th, at the Annapolis Marriot Waterfront Hotel.

The question asked: “Can history defeat present-day pirates?” Keynote speakers will discuss the topic in depth among a large group of scholars interested in this intriguing subject. Speakers like Dr. Martin N. Murphy, author and Piracy Expert, and Stephen M. Carmel, SVP and a Maritime Service Expert, will voice their opinions about modern day pirates.

The registration fee is $35.00 per person. After October 12th, registration will be available only through the in-person on-site registration booth at the conference. Go to the USNI History Conference website to fill out your registration form today.
