Beauty comes in many forms downtown–through cobblestone streets, old red brick buildings, winding streets, window boxes with flowers, historic landmarks, and of course, the picturesque Annapolis Harbor that was cleverly designed to be the focal point. It’s not just the beauty, however, that makes downtown Annapolis so dear in all our hearts. The city’s refusal to forget Annapolis history is part of what visitors and residents alike can enjoy and even take aesthetic pleasure in. All this historical beauty seems worthy of an award, doesn’t it?
