-The West Street Vintage Flea Market kicks off—for the very first time—this Saturday, August 15th. More than 20 tents will be set up in Annapolis’s Art and Entertainment district. If you love bringing old furniture back to life, go scout out some gems at antique furniture tents. If you like classic styles, browse clothing from all eras. You just might come across that item you wanted to add to your collection. If you miss out on this Saturday’s market, don’t worry. The market will run every Saturday for the next eight to ten weeks. -Graham Nash is coming to Rams Head on Stage this Wednesday, August 19th. You read that right, Graham Nash of Crosby, Stills, and Nash, and the Hollies. Throughout the years Nash has used his voice to support peace and justice; he’s used his words to tell his story; and he’s developed his artistry beyond music—he’s a world renowned photographer and visual artist as well. He’s currently working on a new studio record and you can hear his new sound this week during “An Evening with Graham Nash” at Rams Head on Stage. For more information visit ramsheadonstage.com

pottery-Also this week is the 25th Annual Annapolis Art walk, an event that deems Annapolis worthy of its ranking in American Style magazine’s “Top 25 Art Destinations”. Twenty galleries will participate in the event on Thursday, August 20th. With that volume of participation, you’ll see a wide variety of art mediums like oil, watercolor, ceramics, woodturning, sculpture, jewelry crafting and more. Look for yellow balloons and banners at participating galleries. To top it all off there will be live music and entertainment, refreshments, and demonstrations. It’s a free, festive event your whole family is sure to enjoy. Visit artinannapolis.com/artwalk.html for a list of participating galleries and a map for the walk.

-Looking for somewhere new to eat this week? Check out Reynolds Tavern and experience the grandeur of the past. The restaurant is situated in one of Annapolis’ oldest buildings and is in fact one of the oldest taverns in the United States. Its interior reflects the charm of its exterior. Bolster your experience by participating in afternoon tea, champagne tea, or high tea when you can pair a treat an English tea of your choice. If you’re looking for a more modern meal, you can also try the tavern’s lunch and dinner menus. Visit reynoldstavern.org for a menu and more.
