-Another option this week is the multi-day Paint Annapolis event. Currently underway and hosted by the Maryland Federation of Art, Paint Annapolis will see over 100 of the world’s top artists converge on the ‘Sailing Capital of the World’ between June 8-14 for a plein air painting competition and exhibition. The event will be held on streets around town and is designed to explore in paint the special colonial architecture, marine atmosphere and overall energy of Maryland’s capital city and a former capital of the United States. – Finally, after cyclinh 3000+ miles across 12 states, the Race Across America comes to an end at City Dock in Downtown Annapolis this week. Over 300 elite cyclists from around the world will look to complete the “world’s toughest endurance bicycle race” this week and Annapolis is ready and waiting to help celebrate their accomplishment.
