Bacon Brothers Rams Head On Stage-This Saturday, June 13, the Chesapeake Bay Foundation and Boatyard Bar and Grill host the 10th Annual Bands in the Sand on the beach in front of the Philip Merrill Environmental Center. Featuring great live music, cool drinks, and mouth-watering food, Bands in the Sand has grown into a highly anticipated annual event. So popular, in fact, that the 2015 edition is completely sold out.

– If you didn’t score a ticket to Bands in the Sand you can still see some great live music this weekend as the Bacon Brothers (as in Kevin Bacon) bring their duo act to Rams Head On Stage for 4 weekend performances. You can catch multiple performances of Kevin and brother Mike’s songs of bare self-expression and humor on Friday and Saturday. -Another option this week is the multi-day Paint Annapolis event. Currently underway and hosted by the Maryland Federation of Art, Paint Annapolis will see over 100 of the world’s top artists converge on the ‘Sailing Capital of the World’ between June 8-14 for a plein air painting competition and exhibition. The event will be held on streets around town and is designed to explore in paint the special colonial architecture, marine atmosphere and overall energy of Maryland’s capital city and a former capital of the United States. – Finally, after cyclinh 3000+ miles across 12 states, the Race Across America comes to an end at City Dock in Downtown Annapolis this week. Over 300 elite cyclists from around the world will look to complete the “world’s toughest endurance bicycle race” this week and Annapolis is ready and waiting to help celebrate their accomplishment. If you want to be part of the celebration, head down to City Dock between June 16-20.
