event from 6 pm until midnight. Shops, restaurants, and transportation are all operating until midnight so you can enjoy the downtown Annapolis restaurants, varied shopping venues, and the free transportation provided by the Annapolis Circulator and the free parking courtesy of the City of Annapolis.

It’s a Wonderful Life in West Annapolis
on Saturday, from 10 am – 8 pm, you can SHOP ANNAPOLIS with free parking. The West Annapolis Business Affilliation is bringing you a nostalgic holiday event with Santa, shopping, kids’ activities, and entertainment for the whole family. You can watch the perennial favorite Christmas movie, “It’s a Wonderful Life” throughout the day. A portion of all sales will be donated to local charities. Whether you celebrate Hanukkah or Christmas or something else, this is a great movie, a wonderful neighborhood shopping experience, and a fun event to help local charities. Come and join us!

fundraiser at Wild Willy’s
on December 15th entitled Show Up! Stand Up! and Rock Out Against Cancer. This is a fundraiser for a 2009 St. Mary’s graduate who is fighting a rare and aggressive form of cancer. Start your holidays by helping. Please attend.
Music and Performances:
If you want to get in the holiday spirit before heading out to shop, then enjoy a one- hour free concert with the Annapolis Chorale Chorus as they perform Carols for the Season. The Annapolis Chorale Chorus is one of the largest and most active ensembles in the region.
If music is your thing, then you can also try the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra presentation of Simply Sinatra on Friday night, December 16 from 8 – 10 pm at Maryland Hall.
Enjoy Handel’s Messiah as performed by the Annapolis Chorale’s Chamber Chorus and the Annapolis Chamber Orchestra under the direction of Music Director J. Ernest Greene and supported by Live Arts Maryland. This concert will be on Friday, 12/16 from 8 – 10 pm at St. Anne’s Church. All are welcome.
Santa at the Market House in Downtown Annapolis:
If your children or your pets haven’t had a chance to tell Santa what they want for Christmas this year or if you just need a photo to prove that the communication has been adequate, you can go to the Market House in downtown Annapolis to rectify the oversight. Santa will be available for children and families every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from noon until 6 pm until Christmas Eve. (Pets are welcome December 17th from 1 – 3 pm in front of the Market House.)
